What is Makerspace?

Hello! Thanks to the Department of Computer Science we have a space for making things, for any student here in Aberystwyth.

You can find us in Room 1.37 of the Physics building.

You *must* be inducted to use the space. You'll then have access to the room so long as the Physical Sciences building is open.

We have an Ultimaker 3D printer, and a 60W laser cutter/engraver as well as the usual tools and pieces.

We look forward to seeing your projects!

Sign Up for an Induction

We will be running numerous induction sessions to make you familiar with the makerspace and all the tools available to you.
